In April, our CEO of Middle East & Africa Gary, is setting off on a long postponed trip to Everest Base Camp to raise money and awareness for his two chosen charities, and to challenge himself against the world’s tallest mountain.

”My decision to take part in the Everest Base Camp (EBC) challenge was driven by my aspiration to challenge myself but also to raise awareness and funds for Reuben’s Retreat in the UK. I lost my eldest son in 2018 to a sudden heart attack when he was only 27 years old, so I understand the impact of the loss of a child and the work that RR do with the parents and children affected by the death of a child or siblings is exemplary.”

Gary is undertaking some training hikes and climbs in and around the UAE between now and the big event, and we are provided with both images and stories from his journey. We are excited and honored to be with him on this adventure and hope that our support and sharing through social media channels can reach out to more people. Read more and show your support here
